以前年少氣盛，自以為是，常有井蛙之見而不自知。有次大言不慚，說所有國家都有紛爭，唯佛教國家除外最太平。
當然事實並非如此。
兩千年的時候，尼泊爾發生一宗王室屠殺事件，讓我震驚不已，至今記憶猶新。
在該起事件，尼泊爾王儲開槍射殺他的父王母后和另七名王室成員，最後自己吞槍自殺。
王儲殺人動機不明，媒體猜測是因爲在王儲婚事上起了爭執而引起王儲殺機。
或者你可以說，那只是個孤立個案，不能以偏概全。
但我想起了越南和柬埔寨，它們不都是佛教國家嗎？爲什麽也會面對戰亂？
泰國也是內亂不斷。
還有斯里蘭卡，種族緊張造成佛教徒和回教徒之間敵對。
而緬甸，一直以為它的人民都是佛教徒；但在最近，根據媒體報導，竟然一連發生了緬甸佛教徒殺害回教徒事件。
宗教衝突不止在該國發生，在我國，緬甸難民被自己人殺害事件時有所聞。
這些佛教國，不都住著遵守佛陀教誨，守戒重律、愛好和平的佛陀子民嗎？
佛陀教我們慈悲為懷，要教徒守五戒。
佛教五戒的第一戒就是「不殺生」，爲什麽這些佛教國的子民，卻會仇視其他種族并殺害他人呢？
我相信真正涉及的只有少數人，也不是要特意針對佛教徒，我只是就事論事，想著爲什麽「它」會發生？
這就是我一直想不明白的問題。
今天，在《魚之樂》部落格讀到作者提到最新一期《Time》的封面報導，題目《The Face of Buddhist Terror》，報導緬甸佛教徒殺害回教徒事件，原來關鍵人物竟是一位叫Ashin Wirathu的僧人。
《The Face of Buddhist Terror》，直譯為中文就是《佛教恐怖的面貌》。
這名僧人唆使緬甸佛教徒殺害回教徒，還自詡為「緬甸賓拉登」（The Burmese Bin Laden）。
該博文說：“Wirathu在講道時經常挑起信眾對緬甸回教徒的仇恨，甚至直截了當地說緬甸回教徒九成是「思想極端的壞人」；Wirathu 接受上述文章的作者訪問時，亦毫不隱瞞自己對緬甸回教徒的偏激看法，說他們「繁殖得那麼快，而且會擄走我們的女人，強姦她們。他們想佔據我們的國家，我是不會容許他們這樣做的。我們一定要維持緬甸為一個佛教國家。」
Wirathu 的影響力越來越大，他當然不會親手打人殺人，但不斷慫恿信佛的緬甸人有所行動，在講道裏這樣說：「現在不是保持冷靜的時候，現在是起來行動的時候，讓你的血沸騰吧！」去年一群信佛的緬甸人手持（割甘蔗用的）大砍刀，走進緬甸西部的回教徒村落大開殺戒，在其中一條村，一日內便有七十個回教徒被殺（根據 Human Rights Watch 的數字）；有不少人相信有部份行兇者是受了 Wirathus 的言論煽動，才會有這樣極端的行動。”

爲什麽Wirathu會仇恨回教徒？覺得他提的理由很牽強。
或許，種族間的仇恨是不需要理由的，那只是個人的偏見加上旁人煽動所造成。
就算是佛教徒，名為佛教徒，破五戒者也大把人在。
再想想，我國有沒有像Wirathus這樣的人物？
肯定是有的，此刻我腦海里就浮現了呼之欲出的好幾位人物。
像我之前說的，我們不能將之歸咎為宗教信仰，那是個人思想極端所致。
我喜歡作者在文末引述一名Steven Weinberg的話：「無論有沒有宗教，好人會循規蹈矩，壞人則做邪惡事；但要好人做邪惡事---那便只有宗教才可以。」
（With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil---that takes religion.）
借宗教名義而“替天行道”，社會版也常有這類新聞呢！

老兄，现在是末法时期。在正法时，假僧人都有，只是不严重，被压制，更何况是现在。其实，真正的僧人非常非常少。真正的，他不搞名闻利养，不搞建大殿庙，也不要求捐款，他只要求吃的够身体能讲经说法修养，能借小房睡就好。现在的人供养太多了，导致出家人可有道场、庙、有ａｓｔｒｏ看、有ｉｐｈｏｎｅ、ｉｐａｄ用、有私人飞机、名贵车坐、有ｒｏｌｅｘ手表带，这些都害死了他们，简直送他们回家。有的还能娶妻生子，其实释迦牟尼当年连自己的妻儿都度了，更本没有后代。还有很多的是骗人的，说什么事佛再来。开玩笑，还能娶妻生子，那么我们应该鼓励他们多生，这样我们就满街都是佛子了，世界有救了。高人都不露相，露相非高人。可以说，末法时期，在家人能成就的恐怕多于出家人。现在要布施只能印经书（正法），
其他的不干了。供养和尚的事，供吃的可以，其他绝对不干了。 释迦瘦到骨头，讨不到，不吃了；布袋和尚，给粪都能吃。所以，没必要养和尚养到肥肥胖胖，简直布施没有智慧。

看来很多所谓的佛教徒都只是拜拜，对佛法只是一知半解。

國民登記局不也把拜拜列為佛教嗎？
这也不能怪國民登記局把拜拜列為佛教。其实，很多人都误解了佛教。其实，很多庙都不讲经了，变成旅游观点，即使是有都搞些仪式罢了度度非人类了。我记得大学时的佛学会，我第一天出席后就不去了。因为给我感觉佛学会就搞些唱歌、游戏、吃，没有实际的东西，很难否认我朋友说是男女认识的好机会。比起基督教，正法佛教推广方面比较差。有一回，我还没确认自己的信仰时，基督教徒就接触我了，也问我为何不信神呢？我提起问题：既然神爱世人，为何还要放逐人类到世间；为何神要测试世人信不信神，是不是神非常无聊到要做这样的东西，还有什么审判日？过后，那个基督教徒没回答，回去问师傅，再没来了。我真正认识佛教是从经书上认识的，看到楞严经里，的确有人问起佛关于世界的起点、无明问题，里面也有解答而且非常逻辑。可能自己的功夫不够，也有一部分是给我感觉是度鬼神的，所以很难理解鬼神知道的事情。只能了解一点点，不过已佩服了。注：有人认为楞严经是偽造的，不过我觉得谁有这样本事造出来，他的境界已经相当高了。

With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil, that takes religion.
This is true, there are good and bad people in all religions, we can't judge a faith solely base on the action of the disciples. To know if a faith is evil or not, study the original scriptures. Don't listen to clergymen, these people will sweep everything under the carpet.
Take for instance Buddhism, the only reason why creationists accuse them of being demonic is because the Buddhists worship idol. But I challenge anybody to prove the dharma contains anything evil or bad such as killing. Why argue? study it yourself. So far all the dharma I read are totally and 100% peaceful. You may or may not agree with the dharma, that's ok. But you can't deny it's absolutely peaceful.
Why worshiping idol is wrong? Because they were taught so in their scriptures.
One the other hand, go and study all the creationism scriptures and find out whether the terrorists twisting the teachings or following strictly? Again why argue? Learn it yourself. Why listen to other people tell you, that's hearsay. Unreliable. Google up or go to youtube learn it yourself. I did the same and it's a shock to me.
DO NOT trust what Wikipedia says, Wikipedia will only tell the truth about the lifestyles of celebrities. Nobody will understand creationism more than atheists. I solute them for their extensive studies on the religions they once embraced so much. Those who left the faith are often against it vigorously? Because it's understandable for anybody to get angry when they realized they had been fooled for so many years.
Bottom line, many disciples don't read their own scriptures. They worship and listen to clergymen blindly and then they repeat the same thing to others like parrots do.
Hi steppenwolf, please encourage more people to study the scriptures of the so-called religion of "peace" from atheist. It isn't hard but it's important.
Because when more people understand the "true" teachings of the book, they will wake up. But more importantly people like the Chinese convert will remain reticent FOREVER. Don't take my words for it, do it now yourself and see if I tell the truth.
I don't agree with killing or oppressing any cults. To fight cults or false ideologies, what you need is freedom of speech. You see when more people revealing the nonsensical and incredibly barbaric verses from the book on TV or mainstream media, these people will scare to death. They won't want the world to know the book. So if you don't want to be bullied, learn it yourself and tell your friends about it.
